The Risen Gospel Band By The Grace Of God An eclectic blend of Southern Gospel, Southern Rock, Country, and Bluegrass, with a hint of Rock-N-Roll.
RGB for short, started in January 2007. RGB has its roots in many styles of music. With their eclectic blend of everything from Southern Gospel to Country to Southern Rock and back again, RGB has something in their repertoire for everyone to enjoy. The core of the band is the father / daughter duo of Brad and Heather Neal, who perform all the vocals for the group. Brad and/or Brad and Heather also wrote 8 of the 12 songs on this self produced album. On the other four tracks, they turned to veteran songwriters Roy Harris, Frank Pryor Jr., Greg White, and Don Haney. Their strait forward yet heartfelt writing styles rounded out the CD. "All of those guys are great songwriters and just all around good folks. We were sold on the songs when we heard them, they just seem to fit our musical style like a glove...", RGB Brad and Heather also played all the music on the album as well. So, the CD is 100% RGB! RGB is non-denominational by choice, though each of the members grew up with some form of Baptist background and are based in Southeastern Illinois. They play a variety of venue’s delivering GOD’s message of salvation through his son, Our LORD and SAVIOUR, JESUS CHRIST.
