I was one of twelve children born into a family with strong country roots. I was raised in a small town north of Austin, Texas and have enjoyed making music a large part of my life, not only as a means of personal expression but also as a way of keeping close ties with my family.This CD is a compilation of original material that has been twenty years in the making. In the 1980's I, along with a good friend Steve Hennig, went to Nashville and cut a demo of the last four songs on this album, I'm very grateful to Steve for his assistance in this project. I have a deep respect and appreciation for family. I'm thankful to my wife Judy, and daughters Amy and Donna for the years of support and encouragement that they've given and continue to give.I believe that through music an artist opens a window to their heart and soul and reflects what they are truely all about, thus allowing them to present the listener with a personal gift of themself while being blessed with a gift of appreciation. |
